Job Description

A leading industrial processing company is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at a high-temperature industrial plant. This role is critical to ensuring maximum equipment uptime, operational efficiency, and safe plant performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
• Enforce strict Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards
• Manage CMMS system (work orders, scheduling, spare parts tracking)
• Oversee spare parts inventory and maintenance budget
• Maintain technical documentation and maintenance records
• Supervise and develop maintenance staff
• Drive continuous improvement in equipment reliability and efficiency
• Coordinate plant shutdown maintenance activities
   

Required Skills or Experience

• Minimum of HND or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• NVTI Grade 1 plus 7 years’ experience in industrial maintenance leadership will also be considered
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Experience with high-temperature equipment (kilns, reactors, dryers preferred)
• Familiarity with PLC-controlled systems
• Experience using CMMS systems
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
