Job Description

A leading industrial processing company is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance team in keeping plant equipment running safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on role ideal for technically inclined individuals looking to grow in industrial maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with routine maintenance and servicing of plant equipment
• Support the troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical faults
• Help with equipment inspections and basic repairs
• Maintain tools, spare parts, and workshop organization
• Assist in enforcing Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
• Carry out cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance tasks
• Report faults and unusual equipment behaviour promptly
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements

Required Skills or Experience

• Technical training or vocational qualification (mechanical/electrical preferred)
• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in an industrial or workshop environment
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems (electrical knowledge is a plus)
• Willingness to learn and grow in maintenance
• Physically fit and able to work in industrial conditions
• Strong work ethic and reliability
