Zonda Tec Ghana limited, a leader in the assembling, sales and servicing of commercial vehicles in Ghana, is looking to hire an ICUMS Documentation Officer for its Procurement department. As a successful hire, you will be tasked with customs clearance duties and logistics operations.

Role Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and ensure the accuracy of all customs documentation for import and export activities.
• Accurately input and manage data within the ICUMS platform.
• Ensure compliance by staying up-to-date with customs laws, regulations and procedures.
• Liaise effectively with customs officials, clearing agents, shipping lines, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or discrepancies related to documentation or procedures.
• Support and guide team members on ICUMS operations and procedures, including training them when required.
• Maintain organized records of permits, declarations and supporting documents.
• Troubleshoot and resolve documentation and clearance issues.
• Prepare reports and provide regular updates to management.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders such as airlines, shipping lines and port authorities for smooth operations.
• Monitor shipments to ensure timely and compliant clearance.
• Assist with applications for refunds on shipping and container deposits.

Required Skills or Experience

• BSc/BA in any discipline from a recognized university
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in ICUMS clearing and documentation.
• Must have a thorough understanding of MS Office applications.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize task
• Good communication skills
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and uphold the integrity of the company
• Good organizational skills to prioritizing tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to work under pressure
• Proficient in both verbal and written English
