Job Description

Zonda Tec Ghana Limited is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Officer to lead and coordinate human resources functions with a primary focus on recruitment and talent acquisition. The role will also oversee employee relations, payroll support, compliance, office administration, and expatriate management to ensure a seamless and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & Selection (Primary Focus)
    • Manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection.
    • Collaborate with department heads to forecast staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
    • Conduct orientation and onboarding for new hires to ensure smooth integration into the company.
    • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for critical roles within Zonda Tec Ghana Limited.
  •  Employee Relations & Engagement
    • Regularly engage staff to address concerns, improve morale, and foster a positive workplace culture.
    • Provide counseling to employees on company policies, procedures, and performance issues.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for all employee inquiries and administrative support.
    • Report employee feedback and recurring issues to management as necessary.
  • Payroll & Benefits Administration
    • Ensure meticulous implementation of payroll and benefits administration.
    • Record, monitor, and maintain employee attendance to ensure punctuality and accurate payroll processing.
  • Compliance, Legal & Expatriate Management
    • Liaise with company lawyers on all legal issues affecting employment and operations.
    • Handle the administration of all company contracts, including
    • record-keeping of executed documents and correspondence.
    • Secure visas, residence permits, and work permits for all expatriate staff.
  • Health, Safety & Office Administration
    • Oversee the health and safety of all employees, ensuring compliance with workplace safety regulations.
    • Manage procurements and budgets to keep the office running smoothly.
    • Ensure office systems, procedures, and record-keeping are functional and compliant with company policies.
    • Handle internal and external communication management systems; prepare reports, presentations, and ensure timely dissemination of information.
  • Training & Performance Support
    • Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills.
    • Communicate with staff about issues affecting their performance and recommend solutions

Required Skills or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of experience in an HR role, with proven experience in recruitment.
  • Knowledge of Ghanaian labor laws, expatriate quota systems, and permit processing.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR information systems.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

External: Legal advisors, immigration authorities, recruitment platforms, training vendors
