Job Description

The Head of Production & Commodity Sourcing will lead Maamani’s upstream agricultural strategy, overseeing the cultivation, aggregation, and supply of key raw materials, including maize, soybean, and other
feed and processing inputs. The role is responsible for ensuring consistent, cost-effective, and high-quality supply to support the company’s poultry, feedmill, and soybean processing operations, while
building strong partnerships with farmers, aggregators, and suppliers. In addition, the role will drive Maamani’s environmental sustainability agenda, including climate-smart agriculture, land development,
landscaping, and tree planting programs, ensuring long-term resilience of the supply chain.

Required Skills or Experience

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agribusiness, or related field
• Minimum 5–10 years’ experience in:
• Crop production
• Commodity sourcing
• Supply chain management
   

Experience working with:

• Smallholder farmers
• Large-scale farming operations
   

Strong understanding of:
