What will your role be?
Responsible for supporting the recruitment team with a primary focus on ensuring that reference checks are conducted accurately and on time. In addition, shall support the Recruitment Team with other HR functions in the management of the Human Resource Department of the institution

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure all candidate references are thoroughly checked and documented promptly.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with candidates regarding the status of their reference checks.
• Accurately record and manage reference check data in the recruitment system.
• Assist the recruitment team with various tasks, including job postings, resume screening, sharing feedback to unsuccessful applicants, and interview scheduling.
• Perform administrative duties related to recruitment, such as maintaining candidate files and preparing recruitment reports.
• Ensure all reference checks comply with company policies and relevant legal requirements.
• Provide feedback and suggestions to improve the reference-checking process

CHALLENGES

• Dealing with unresponsive contacts or language barriers, which can delay the process.
• Managing a large number of reference checks simultaneously

Required Skills or Experience

You have a:

• Higher National Diploma, a Diploma or currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
