Job Description

The accountant will provide strategic financial leadership across Maamani’s integrated operations, including poultry production, feed milling, soybean processing, and manure processing. The accountant will be responsible for driving profitability, financial discipline, capital efficiency, and sustainable growth, while ensuring robust financial systems, controls, and reporting structures are in place to support a rapidly scaling agribusiness.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• EBITDA and net profit margins across business units
• Cost per ton (feed, soybean processing, manure output)
• Poultry production cost efficiency (cost per bird / crate of eggs)
• Cash flow stability and working capital efficiency
• Budget adherence and variance control
• Return on invested capital (ROIC)
• Timeliness and accuracy of financial reporting
   

Required Skills or Experience

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Professional qualification required (ACCA, ICA, CPA or equivalent)
• Minimum 5–10 years’ experience, with at least:
• 3+ years in senior financial leadership
• Experience in agribusiness, manufacturing, or FMCG highly preferred
   

Strong experience in:

• Financial modeling
• Capital raising
• Multi-business financial management
