Job Description

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the feed mill, including grinding, mixing, pelletizing, and bagging.
• Lead and coordinate feed mill workers to ensure smooth and safe production flow.
• Develop and enforce production schedules to meet poultry house feed requirements.
• Monitor raw material intake, storage, and usage to minimize waste and maintain quality.
• Ensure all equipment is operated safely and maintained according to company standards.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules in collaboration with the mechanical and electrical teams.
• Keep accurate records of feed formulations, production volumes, and inventory levels.
• Monitor quality control to ensure feed meets nutritional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Report on production, challenges, and improvements to management.
• Train and mentor feed mill workers in safe work practices and efficiency.
   

Required Skills or Experience

Qualifications & Experience

• HND / BSc in Agriculture, Animal Science,
• Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in feed mill operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of feed formulations, quality control, and poultry nutrition.
• Experience with feed mill machinery operation and troubleshooting.
• Ability to supervise and motivate a team.
• Good record-keeping and reporting skills.
• Willingness to live and work in the Savannah Region.
