Job Description

We are looking for Middleware System Engineer Z/OS (M/F) profiles / CVs to pass on to our clients for their future recruitment campaigns.

Mission :

  • Experienced Z/OS system engineer, able to install, configure, activate and perform both investigation and problem resolution of products typically used in a z/OS environment.
  • Team in charge of the management of a mainframe environment (HW / SW), including associated security (RACF), storage (DASD, Tape, B&R, DRP), compliance, metrology, performance, automation, and network aspects.
  • Required profile for job ad : Middleware System Engineer Z/OS (M/F)
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of Z/OS.

 
 

Specific knowledge in one of the following areas:

  • Knowledge of DFSMS, DFHSM, DFRMM, Flashcopy, and GDPS.
  • Security (RACF, LDAP).
  • Network (TCP / IP, VTAM).
  • Performance management, metrology (RMF, Omegamon, TDS).
  • Programming languages (Assembler, REXX, Java, Cobol).
  • Automation (Netview, System Automation, TWS).

 


PROFILE :

  • Higher education in computer science.
  • Recent experience of 10 years in a Z/Os system engineer role.
  • Sense of responsibility, rigour, autonomy, solution orientation, sense of service and team spirit.
  • French and good knowledge of English, international context.
