Job Description

We are looking for a Floor Manager (Hospitality).

Job Overview:
The Floor Manager is responsible for overseeing daily front-of-house operations and overall ambiance of the club and restaurant; ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining service excellence, and supervising staff performance. 
This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of fine dining standards, etiquette, and service flow.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all front-of-house (FOH) operations during service hours
  • Ensure smooth coordination between the kitchen and service staff
  • Manage reservations, seating plans, and guest flow
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
  • Deliver and maintain high-end, personalized guest service
  • Handle VIP guests and special requests with discretion
  • Resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally
  • Monitor ambiance, cleanliness, and overall presentation
  • Supervise, train, and mentor floor staff (waiters, hosts, sommeliers)
  • Enforce grooming, uniform, and service standards
  • Schedule staff shifts and manage attendance
  • Monitor daily sales performance and service efficiency
  • Coordinate with management on promotions, events, and special menus
  • Support marketing initiatives by enhancing guest satisfaction and retention

 

Required profile for job ad: Floor Manager (Hospitality) - Lagos
Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field
  • 5–8 years of experience in Fine Dining restaurant operations, Membership club, and Bar&Lounge with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role within fine dining
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Deep knowledge of fine dining service standards and wine service
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Customer-focused mindset
