We are looking for an Internal Audit Officer.

Job Description:

• Audit Planning & Execution: Plan, execute, and document audit engagements to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and report on potential operational, financial, and compliance risks.
• Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and external statutory/regulatory requirements.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed, high-quality audit reports outlining findings, risks, and recommendations for management.
• Follow-up: Monitor and confirm the implementation of agreed-upon corrective actions from previous audits.
• Fraud Investigation: Assist in investigating potential fraud, material misconduct, or irregularities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: HND or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• Experience: Usually 2+ years of experience in auditing, assurance, or risk management.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in auditing software, MS Office (especially Excel), and accounting systems.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, identify inefficiencies, and pay close attention to detail.
• Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills for reporting to management
