Job Description

  • The National Sales Manager will lead the direct-to-retail sales strategy, driving nationwide distribution, visibility, and revenue growth across all channels. This role requires a hands-on sales leader with strong experience in field force management, route-to-market execution, and distributor coordination within the FMCG space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute direct-to-retail sales strategies to drive volume, distribution, and market share
  • Lead and manage regional sales managers, supervisors, and field sales representatives nationwide
  • Drive effective route-to-market (RTM) execution, ensuring optimal outlet coverage and frequency
  • Monitor sales KPIs (volume, value, numeric & weighted distribution) and enforce performance discipline
  • Strengthen relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key retail accounts
  • Ensure product availability, visibility, and merchandising standards across all outlets
  • Identify growth opportunities across territories and expand retail penetration
  • Collaborate with marketing on trade activations, promotions, and in-market execution
  • Oversee sales forecasting, demand planning, and stock alignment with supply chain
  • Track competitor activities and market trends to inform sales strategy
