The IT Senior Support Engineer provides advanced technical support for IT infrastructure, systems, and end users.
The role involves troubleshooting complex issues, ensuring system reliability, and leading IT support activities in line with organizational policies and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide third-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
Install, configure, and maintain servers, desktops, and enterprise applications
Manage and support Active Directory, Microsoft 365, email, and user access
Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and basic firewall systems
Lead troubleshooting of critical incidents and root-cause analysis
Supervise and mentor junior IT support staff
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT solutions
Maintain system documentation, asset records, and support reports
Ensure compliance with IT security, backup, and disaster recovery policies
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Computer Science, IT, or related field
4 - 6 years of proven experience in IT support or infrastructure roles
Strong knowledge of Windows Server, networking, and IT security basics
Experience with virtualization, backups, and system monitoring tools
Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and support business-critical systems
