The Electrical Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and machinery within the facility.
The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, hands-on maintenance experience, and the ability to ensure minimal downtime in operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and production equipment.
Diagnosing electrical faults and resolving issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
Installing, testing, and commissioning electrical components and machinery.
Monitoring electrical panels, motors, control systems, and power distribution systems.
Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Ensuring compliance with safety procedures and electrical regulations at all times.
Assisting in troubleshooting automation and control-related issues.
Maintaining accurate maintenance records and reporting faults promptly.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department.
Requirements:
OND, HND, or Trade Test certification in Electrical Engineering or related fields
1 - 3 years of experience as an Electrical Technician in manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial environments.
Good understanding of electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
Ability to use electrical testing and diagnostic tools effectively.
Knowledge of industrial safety standards and preventive maintenance practices.
