The successful applicant will manage the company's social media platforms, create engaging content, grow its online presence and enhance brand awareness through effective digital communication strategies.
JOB PURPOSE
The successful applicant shall be responsible for managing the company's social media platforms, creating engaging content, growing online presence, and enhancing brand awareness through effective digital communication strategies.The role reports to the Marketing manager. ROLE SPECIFIC
Creates, schedules, and publishes content across social media platforms.
Develops engaging content including graphics, captions and short videos.
Monitors social media channels and responds to customer inquiries.
Tracks and reports on social media performance metrics.
Supports the execution of digital marketing campaigns.
Stays updated on industry trends and emerging social media tools.
Grows audience engagement and brand visibility.
Collaborates with internal teams to promote products, services and company initiatives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
Minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
At least 1 year of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or a similar role.
Proficiency in social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and X.
Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite will be an advantage.
Knowledge of social media analytics and reporting tools.
Strong content creation and copywriting skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Good interpersonal and customer engagement skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
