Job Description

We are looking for a Head, Finance and Accounts.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's business goals and expansion plans
• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in compliance with applicable accounting standards
• Lead the annual budgeting process, financial forecasting, and long-term business planning
• Present financial reports and actionable insights to the MD/CEO and board of directors to aid in strategic decision-making
• Manage all export-related financial instruments, including Letter of Credit (LC) , packing credit, and post-shipment finance
• Liaise with banks for fund management, credit limits, forex transactions, and working capital requirements 
• Ensure smooth commercial operations, including coordination with shipping, merchandise, and production teams for export documentation and buyer payments 
• Oversee garment production costing, bill of materials (BOM) validation, and margin analysis for all orders 
• Implement and monitor robust inventory control systems to ensure accurate valuation of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods 
• Drive cost optimisation initiatives across the supply chain and production processes to improve profitability 
• Ensure strict compliance with all statutory regulations, including GST, Income Tax, TDS, Customs, PF, and ESI.
• Manage transfer pricing and other international tax implications related to exports
• Lead the digital transformation of the finance function, including the implementation and optimisation of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Tally Prime, or customised textile ERP) for real-time reporting 
• Build, mentor, and lead the finance and accounts team, fostering a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities for audits and regulatory filings
• Implement and enforce strong internal financial controls and governance policies
