Zonda Tec Ghana Limited is a leading vehicle assembly company based in Tema, specializing in the assembly of Light Duty and Heavy Duty vehicles. We are committed to operational excellence, safety, and maintaining a world-class manufacturing environment. We are seeking a diligent and physically fit Workshop Cleaner to maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within our busy vehicle assembly workshop. The ideal candidate will ensure that all work areas, tools, and equipment are free from oil, grease, metal shavings, and debris to prevent accidents and support efficient production.

Key Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and scrub workshop floors, bays, and assembly lines daily.
• Remove oil spills, grease, hydraulic fluid, and chemical residues immediately using appropriate absorbents and cleaning agents.
• Empty waste bins, separate recyclable materials (metal scraps, plastic, cardboard), and dispose of industrial waste per company policy.
• Clean and disinfect locker rooms, break areas, and washrooms used by workshop staff.
• Collect metal cuttings, scrap wires, used rags, and empty lubricant containers into designated collection points.
• Assist in the proper disposal of hazardous waste (e.g., used oil filters, batteries, solvent rags) under HSE guidance.
• Ensure spill kits are accessible and report any large spills to the supervisor immediately.
• Keep tool cribs, parts shelves, and workbenches dust-free and organized.
• Clean hand tools and return them to designated storage areas after use.
• Ensure cleaning equipment (mops, buckets, pressure washers, floor scrubbers) is maintained and stored properly.

Required Skills or Experience

• Qualifications
  • Minimum: JHS / SHS Certificate.
  • Previous experience as a cleaner in a factory, garage, or automotive workshop is an added advantage.
• Skills & Attributes
  • Physically fit and able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 20 kg for long hours.
  • Good attention to detail (e.g., spotting oil leaks or scattered bolts).
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Basic understanding of English or Twi for safety communication.
