Job Summary:

• We are seeking a highly experienced Head, Financial Advisory to lead the origination, structuring, and execution of complex financial transactions across M&A, capital raising, project finance, and corporate restructuring.
• The role sits at a senior leadership level and requires a proven dealmaker with strong investment banking experience, excellent financial structuring capabilities, and the ability to lead high-performing advisory teams while managing relationships with corporates, institutional investors, and public sector clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Transaction Origination & Execution:

• Originate and lead execution of complex transactions including M&A, debt/equity capital raises, and restructuring deals
• Lead end-to-end deal lifecycle from origination to financial close
• Drive negotiations with counterparties on structuring, valuation, and deal terms
• Oversee preparation of term sheets, transaction agreements, and investment documentation

Project Finance & Infrastructure Advisory:

• Lead advisory mandates across infrastructure, energy, real estate, and development finance sectors
• Conduct feasibility studies, sector research, and financial assessments
• Provide strategic structuring advice for large-scale public and private sector projects
• Present investment cases to boards, investors, and stakeholders

Financial Modeling & Valuation:

• Supervise development of advanced financial models (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions, LBO, NAV, etc.)
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of valuation and investment analysis
• Provide insights on capital markets trends and investment viability

Business Development:

• Originate new business opportunities and advisory mandates
• Build and maintain relationships with corporates, investors, DFIs, and government agencies
• Represent the firm in high-level client meetings, negotiations, and industry engagements

Leadership & Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing financial advisory team
• Establish best practices for deal execution and advisory delivery
• Ensure strong governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance across all transactions

RequirementsEducation & Certification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• MBA or Master’s degree is an advantage
• Professional qualification (CFA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent) is required

Experience:

• Minimum of 12+ years’ experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or transaction advisory
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role (VP, Director, or equivalent)
• Proven track record of originating and executing high-value transactions (M&A, capital markets, restructuring)
• Strong experience in financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring
• Exposure to infrastructure, energy, or development finance transactions is highly desirable
